CS SSCC Management
Different SSCC number series may be defined, to be used for different purposes. An SSCC
number is composed of a free to choose a prefix digit, a company identification provided by GS1 and a sequence range 3 from start to end number. The total length of the SSCC number is 17 digits. CS SSCC Management will calculate the check digit at the end of each assigned number to complete SSCC label number to 18 digits.
Code:
A Code of 10 characters to identity the number series. This is mandatory.
Description:
A free to choose description to identity the number series that is easy to understand for users.
Start No.:
The first number that can be used in the number series. This is mandatory.
End No:
The last number that can be used in the number series. This is mandatory.
Warning No.:
The number within the defined range where CS SSCC Management will show a message that the number series is running out of range.
Last Used no.:
The last assigned SSCC number in the current range. CS SSCC Management uses this column to determine the next SSCC number to be calculated.
In the picture above, the first 0 and 3 are prefixes, 8711960 is a company identification number and the remaining digits are sequence numbers.
Note: The total number of digits on this page must be 17 exactly in all number columns.
