CS Preorder Manager

Business Central identifies Requisition Worksheet Templates to create worksheets for planning purposes. Requisition worksheet templates can have various batches (names). A Requisition Worksheet Name can be identified as a batch for preorders:

On the Requisition Worksheet, the standard function to calculate plans uses the Preorder switch on sales orders as a filter for the worksheet:

Business Central calculates the plan for this worksheet only for sales orders with the Preorder switch on.

If the Preorder switch is turned off in the worksheet name, the preorders will be excluded from the planning.

Preorders will only be filtered for sales orders. In the planning procedure every Forecast can be selected.

The planning calculation and the functionality of the requisition worksheets are standard functions of Business Central. Planning parameters should be filled on item pages to make the inventory planning using requisition worksheets correctly.
