Threshold Codes

A Threshold code can be used in the setup, to make changes to the commission percentage that is calculated in regular situations for this sales person. Thresholds can be determined for Line

discounts or invoice discounts.

The different columns or fields are explained below:

 

Code:

A general code that identifies the threshold. The code must be unique.

 

Description:

Description that explains the user what the threshold is used for.

 

Type:

Shows if the threshold depends on the Line discount percentage, Line discount amount, Invoice discount percentage or Invoice discount amount on the sales line.

 

Threshold Value:

Displays the threshold value (based on the Type in the page header) above which a different sales cost type and value must be used.

 

Sales Costs Type:

Indicates whether a percentage of the base amount or a fixed amount needs to be paid.

 

Sales Costs Value:

Indicates the percentage or the amount (based on the Sales Costs Type) that needs to be paid.

 

In the example above the following setting is made:

If the line discount percentage is larger than 15 %, a commission of 2 % occurs.

If the line discount percentage is larger than 25%, a commission of 1% occurs.

If the line discount percentage is larger than 30%, a commission of 25 Local currency occurs.

 

If the Line discount percentage is lower than 15%, the standard commission of 4,25% on the base amount occurs:

Sales costs and commissions will be calculated for sales orders, sales invoices and sales credit memo’s.
