CS Fashion Central Premium

On the page of Fashion Central Setup, the following settings are made:

Tab general:

Colour and size structure:

CS Fashion Central Premium supports the use of colours and sizes in items and/or variants. This setting determines if you use the colour code on item level or on variant level and if you use the size code on item level or on variant level.

! This setting cannot be changed if Items are present in your Business Central administration !

If you want to choose a different structure for colours and sizes, all items should be deleted before the setting can be changed. If items cannot be deleted then a new company administration should be created.

Item Separator:

Choose a 1 character separator that will be used between model no. and colour- / size codes in an item number. Item numbers are built up from model numbers, colour codes and size codes (depending on the setting in the field Colour and Size structure).

Variant Separator:

Choose a 1 character separator that will be used between a colour- and a size code in a variant code. Variant codes are built up from these codes (depending on the setting in the field Colour and Size structure).

Size sorting Length:

The size sorting will be used in Item numbers or variant codes when you create items and variants from models. The total length of an item number cannot be more than 20 characters. The total length of a variant code cannot be more than 10 characters. The length of this sorting code can be set to a fixed length. Depending on the setting there are less than 20 or 10 characters left for the item number or variant code.

Depending on the chosen Colour and Size structure, the field Model No. Length will indicate the maximum length of the Model Numbers.

Colour reference Length:

The colour reference will be used in Item numbers or variant codes when you create items and variants from models. The total length of an item number cannot be more than 20 characters. The total length of a variant code cannot be more than 10 characters. The length of this sorting code can be set to a fixed length. Depending on the setting there are less than 20 or 10 characters left for the item number or variant code.

Depending on the chosen Colour and Size structure, the field Model No. Length will indicate the maximum length of the Model Numbers.

Model No. Length:

This field will indicate the maximum length of Model Numbers in CS Fashion Central Premium. It cannot be changed due to restrictions of the field lengths of item numbers and variant codes in Business Central.

The field will indicate the length based on the chosen settings for Size Sorting Length and Colour Reference Length.

Tab Dimensions:

CS Fashion Central Premium creates standard Business Central dimensions for items, that are used throughout the whole system. The dimension names that you want to use can be set on this tab.

The Sales channel dimension and Order type dimension are used on Sales Orders.

The Order type dimension is also used on Purchase orders and on Transfer orders.

CS Fashion Central Premium creates the standard dimensions in Dynamics 365 Business Central automatically.

Dimension values are maintained on the pages for Collections, Brands, Themes, Seasons, Product Lines, Target Groups, Designers, Sales Channels and Order Types.

Tab Numbering:

Model Nos.

Model numbers are created on a (standard) number series, just as item numbers. Choose the correct number series for model numbers.

Create a new number series for Model numbers if required. CS Fashion Central Premium will check if the length of the number series will be larger than the Model No. Length on the General tab.
